Its called the Last Broadcast. Almost identical plot, and website format, and tagline. 4 filmmakers went into New England woods in search of the legendary New Jersey Devil to make a film. Something went drastically wrong and all of em wound up fucking dead. the movie came out one year before blair witch was made. they claim to have had ideas for blair witch since 92-3. but most people claim to have liked green day BEFORE it was popular, too. last broadcast had a website when it came out that was similar to blairwitch.com which came out much later too. Also, last broadcast was mistaken for fact and rumored to be a true documentation just like blair witch project. same tactics and everything so...original? No. Good movie anyway?
