p2 i keep hearing people say
it's only 4 years
but it's not
the republicans have control
of all 3 branches of government
(judicial is only a matter of time)
this has long lasting implications
any bill the republicans want
will be passed by congress
and not vetoed by the president
and upheld by the supreme court
our checks and balances
just went out the window

on a side note of horror
this paves the way for...
*ominous music*
hillary '08!
if kerry won
he would have run again in '08
as the incumbant

knot meat they say the two party system is stable. if there's no change by the mid-term elections in congress, it doesn't bode well for democrats. a gore/hilary/obama/dean primary would be exciting to watch. but i'll still be watching it from toronto. 041105
stork daddy another point. the further to the right a critical mass of people get...the more compromise even between two parties (especially when a large portion of the democratic party is moderate and not left enough to counteract the far right) still sucks. what's the middle ground between moderate and ridiculously right? 041105
